Just the one fixture this week - Leeds Locos 1 will host Bootle in what’s sure to be a thriller.

Last week’s action brought a full sweep for both Locos teams in an excellent Sunday of baseball.

The Division 3 side travelled up to go against Wragby, where Andy Dean put up 4 innings of 1-run ball in game 1, getting a pair of hits on offence too. The second game was a closer affair, but Peter went 4 for 4 with 6 RBIs - “industry of producing runs”, Captain Conrado.

The Locos 2 hosted Manchester, with both teams showing how much they’d improved since their week 5 matchup. We said farewell to the iconic Justin Wright as he pitched his final game for the club, driving in the winning run in the first game to top it all off. Ryan went 3-3 in game 2 with 5 RBIs, with all of those hits splitting the gap into left field.

Youth training is cancelled for tonight with the heatwave rolling through.
Main team training is on, but bring lots of suncream and water!

And our Locos 2 will face off against the Cavaliers at home!

Quick update on last week’s results before today’s games.

Our division 3 squad set out to sting the Bees on our home turf, and managed a fantastic sweep.
Justin Wright and Adam Jue were our MVPs for each game respectively.

In Division 4, we travelled to Durham and fought bravely to come back from a blowout first game to a closely matched second.
Game 1 MVP was Alastair Brown, and Game 2 saw Ryan Webster get his first ever home run in his MVP performance. You can stay up to date on his journey, as he’s documenting the whole thing! ryan
