⚽️ We’re looking for our next coach! ⚽️
Could you be the person to help shape the next chapter of HFFC Belles?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and committed coach who is passionate about developing players, building a positive team culture and helping a local women’s team reach its full potential. As the Halifax Friendly FC Belles move into the Competitive Division this season, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact both on and off the pitch.
📩 If you’re interested, or know someone who would be a great fit, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply or share this post with your football network.

It’s like the break-up of the band… again!
It’s hard to imagine without on the touchline. He has been a huge part of the club’s journey and success over the years.
Whether it was running weekly sessions or his team talk on match days (whilst wearing a coat in the middle of summer), Amby threw himself into everything he did. His enthusiasm for the game and commitment to the players never wavered.
Behind every tournament win, every cup run, every league campaign and every player who has grown in confidence and ability, there has been a lot of hard work from Amby. He didn’t just coach players; he gave them the tools, belief and encouragement to take their game to the next level.
Most importantly, he always had the girls’ best interests at heart. He cared deeply about the team, celebrated every success and was always there to support players through the tougher moments too.
The impact he has had on the extends far beyond results. He has helped shape the culture of the Belles, create lasting memories and built a team that players are proud to be part of. So many funny memories from all the socials and trips along the way too!
Some man for one man!
Thank you for everything, Amby. You will be hugely missed by everyone! 💛🩷

After three seasons of dedication to Halifax Friendly FC , it’s time to say thank you to Sar Ann .
While many only see or hear what happens on the pitch, Sarann has been one of the people working tirelessly behind the scenes to keep Halifax Friendly FC Belles running. As our Treasurer, she has given countless hours to organising, supporting and helping ensure everything stays on track.
Sarann has played a huge role in the development and success of the Belles. Whether it was balancing the books, sorting club admin or keeping Paddy and Amby in check, she has always been there when the team needed her.
Like many ‘behind the scenes’ roles that work smoothly, her contributions may have gone unnoticed by many but they have never gone unappreciated. The time, effort and care she has given to the club have helped create the positive and welcoming environment that makes the Belles such a special community to be part of.
She has even managed a few call-ups along the way and we were delighted when she was crowned Player of the Tournament in Barcelona! 👏
Thank you for everything you’ve done for the team and the club, Sarann. Your impact reaches far beyond football and you leave with the gratitude and respect of us all 💛🩷

After four seasons with Halifax Friendly FC , it’s time to say goodbye to Nichola Hargreaves as she hangs up her boots.
Nic has been one of those players every team wishes they had. Genuine, kind, thoughtful, reliable and incredibly hardworking, she has given absolutely everything every time she has stepped onto the pitch.
Over the years, Nic has played in numerous positions for the club, always putting the team first and never hesitating to do whatever was needed. Her work rate has been second to none – covering every blade of grass, never stopping running, competing for every challenge and leading by example from the first whistle to the last.
Beyond her footballing ability, Nic has been a fantastic teammate. She has welcomed and motivated players both new and experienced, helped create a positive environment around the squad and embodied everything that HFFC stands for. Whether it was training, matchdays or team socials, she was always someone the club could rely on.
One thing many of us will miss is Nic’s trademark congratulatory hug at the end of every game – win, lose or draw. A small gesture that perfectly sums up the caring, supportive person she is.
It has been an absolute pleasure for so many of us to play alongside Nic and for those who have had the privilege of coaching her. She leaves with the respect, admiration and gratitude of everyone connected to the club.
Thank you for everything, Nic. We wish you every success and happiness for the future 💛
