🏆 WY Tournament Champions – 5th July | U12 West Yorkshire Winners! 🏆
What an incredible day for our u11s/12s, who just got better and better as the tournament went on, and it all paid off as they were crowned U12 West Yorkshire Champions! 💙💛
The first round saw a slightly shaky start as the girls settled into their opening game, but they listened, adapted and gave 100% effort to hold onto the lead. From there, they grew in confidence with every match, really gelling as a team and finding a fantastic rhythm. They converted countless centre passes, picked up loose balls, and turned some outstanding defensive pressure into brilliant points on the board!
Heading into the placing round, we faced some tough opposition, but the girls were determined to keep winning. They played with heart, resilience and confidence, putting everything they had learned throughout the day into practice to secure two more fantastic victories and earn that well-deserved trophy! 🏆

U10 Blues vs DNA U11 Whites in the Bury league, division 4 year 5/6
The girls worked incredibly hard in both attack and defence, with some fantastic passages of play through the court and great teamwork inside the D.

U14s Bury U21 Prem
Win 43-34 vs Bury U15
A strong start to the match saw a good lead going into Q2. Bury came out fighting and a strong Q2 saw us only 4 up by half time. The girls stayed focused and adjusted to the physical nature of the game. Some fabulous shooting and quick movement though court led to a great Q4 and the win.
A good win and solid performance all round. 💙

🖤 💙 U13’s against Rochdale Red U14’s loss 23-32

Exciting last Bury game against an aggressive Rochdale team, the team mostly remained composed when faced with the challenging behaviours. After a slow start in Q1 changes were made and they started to close the gap in Q2 and at one point closed it by 2, the opposition affected the flow of the game in Q4 and they took a bigger lead.
All the girls fought hard and there were some very red faces at the end.

U15s Bury U21 prem league
vs KWP U15
challenging game for the team. They were getting good turnover but not able to capitalise on them, leaving them trailing by 10 going into the last 1/4.
With a re focus and some changes to team re grouped and went into the final 1/4 strong taking the 1/4 by 5 goals difference. Too little too late to secure the win but some great take aways from the game.
Final score 26-31 loss.

A disappointing loss this pm in Bury. Some good passages of play and plenty of turnovers, but the girls didn’t quite get the flow through court they normally deliver. A few too many unforced errors across court that the opposition took advantage of, but some positive play throughout
