Leamington Athletics Academy

Established in September 2011, LAA is a multi-event athletics club affiliated with England Athletics.

We offer training for athletes aged 4 – 18 years old in track and field events inclusive of all abilities and disabilities Training is held at Edmonscote Athletics Track all year round. We offer training on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays with camps in the holidays. Track Tots: School years: reception & year 1

Today our LAA athlete Danny competed at the CP Sport national championships.

He competed in the 100m, 200m and javelin. Danny has Cerebral Palsy on the left side of his body.
Danny won gold in the javelin and 200m and got a silver in the 100m.

He ran 2 new PB’s! What a way to sign off for the season!

NIGHT OF ENDURANCE PB’S

Held at Nuneaton on 28th July at an evening event , Harrison and Joshua raced in their first 1200m event.

They did LAA proud as they warmed themselves up, had great camaraderie between themselevs on a busy track, and then excellent sportsmanship staying on the track to cheer everyone on to finishing.

And they’ve officially got a PB for 1200m.

Well done boys!
