Today I stood looking at my Growth Tree, and I felt incredibly proud😊

Before every session, I ask my members one simple question…

ā€œHow do you feel out of 10?ā€

Then I ask them the same question before they leave.

Today, I watched someone go from 5/10 to 8/10
Another from 7/10 to 10/10
Another from 8/10 to 9/10

Those numbers mean a lot to me, not because they’re perfect, but because they remind me why I became a coach in the first place.

Some of the biggest changes exercise creates can’t be seen in the mirror.

For me, it has always been about so much more than that….

It’s about reconnecting with your body, building genuine connections with the people around you and, most importantly, reconnecting with yourself.

The Growth Tree is filled with words my members have chosen after their sessions…

ā€œFreeing.ā€
ā€œLifted.ā€
ā€œMore awake.ā€
ā€œStrong and resilient.ā€
ā€œInspired and energised.ā€

Those words are a reminder that people can walk through the door carrying the weight of the day and leave carrying a little less.

Because sometimes the biggest change isn’t what you see in the mirror, it’s simply leaving the session feeling better than when you arrived🫶

Day 3.

I ended up with some unexpected free time today because my schedule changed….

I’m not suddenly full of energy, and honestly, it would have been easy to stay inside and do nothing with that time.

However, I knew getting outside would probably give me something back, even if it was only a little bit.

I’m also very lucky to have somewhere like this practically on my doorstep, and I know not everyone has access to a space like this but, it doesn’t have to be a long walk or somewhere scenic.

It’s a hot day, so this won’t be a long walk and it doesn’t need to be!

Sometimes even sitting outside for ten minutes, with your phone down, can help you breathe, clear your head and feel a little more connected to yourself again.

It doesn’t have to fix everything to still be worth doing.

Today, this helped me get a little bit of myself back😌

Day 2.

This morning, my head felt really foggy and full, so I decided to do a brain dump and write down everything that was sitting in my mind.

It was challenging because the brain fog made it difficult to organise my thoughts, but I did it anyway.

This actually, it has helped clear my head a little bit so I will be continuing to do this daily…

I still do not have everything figured out, but I feel less like I am carrying it all around in my head.

Today’s step was simply creating a bit of space and giving myself somewhere to beginšŸ‘

I haven’t felt like the best version of myself recently….

My energy is low, my food choices haven’t been great and everything has felt a little harder than it normally does.

I could hide all this because I’m a coach but the truth is, this is exactly the kind of cycle I help other people navigate through.

So, I’m going to share what I’m going to do to support myself through it.

I’m not gonna go on any extreme diet or intense training programme, I’m just going to take some realistic actions to help me move forward and practice what I preach if a member was struggling with the same thing.

Today, I’m starting with posting this up because being open about where I am at is a part of moving forward āļø

I’ll be posting updates daily so let’s just see where it takes us …

Who lives in your head but no longer in your life?

I’ve been reflecting on this a lot lately…..

It’s made me realise that some of the beliefs I’ve carried for years don’t actually belong to who I am anymore.

They probably protected me once. They helped me fit in, avoid conflict, or stay safe but, somewhere along the way, they stopped helping and started holding me back.

That doesn’t mean they’ve disappeared. I still hear them. The difference is, I don’t automatically believe them anymore.

I question them.

If this resonates with you, take five minutes today and write down all the ā€œshouldsā€ that come into your head.

ā€œI shouldā€¦ā€
ā€œI shouldn’tā€¦ā€
ā€œI have toā€¦ā€
ā€œI can’tā€¦ā€

Then ask yourself:

Whose voice is that?

You might be surprised how many of those beliefs belong to a previous version of you, rather than the person you’re becoming. 🫶

This might sound controversial coming from a personal trainer...

But I don't think losing weight will solve all your problems.

Before you scroll, hear me out ā¬‡ļø

If reaching your goal weight was the answer to everything, why do so many people end up back where they started?

Because the weight isn't the only thing they're carrying

šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøThe self-doubt is still there
šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøThe negative self-talk is still there
šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøThe need for reassurance is still there
šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøThe comparison is still there

.. that's why I believe mindset matters just as much as movement.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to lose weight, I help people do that
but, I don't want you to believe that your confidence, happiness or self-worth is waiting for you at a certain number on the scales.

I want you to exercise because it helps you feel stronger, calmer, clearer and more capable.

Ironically, when people start focusing on how movement makes them feel rather than just how it makes them look, they often become more consistent... and the weight takes care of itself.

šŸ¤”Here's something to think about today...

If you woke up tomorrow at your goal weight...What problems would still be there?

Your answer might tell you where your real work begins āļø

Freedom means something very different to me these days....

It used to mean having more money, time, less stress and looking for the 'perfect life'.

Now...

āž”ļøFreedom is speaking even when my voice shakes

āž”ļøIt's saying no without carrying guilt

āž”ļøIt's making decisions that align with my values instead of worrying what everyone else might think

āž”ļøt's accepting that not everyone will understand me, and that's okay.

āļøIt's choosing my life instead of letting fear choose it for meāļø

Don't get me wrong, I'm still learning, I'm still growing....

but every step I take towards being more myself feels like freedom!

šŸ‘‰This exactly why I coach the way I do, because I don't believe exercise is just about changing your body...

I believe it can become the place where you start finding yourself again😌

If you've ever felt like you've lost a little bit of who you are, just know... you're not alone. 🫶

This week has got me thinking…

Why do I actually do this?šŸ¤”

Not just personal training but all of it….

The mindset sessions
The conversations
The journals
The messages between sessions
The little wins that probably don’t seem little to the person going through them

I realised something, the thing that makes me happiest isn’t seeing someone lose weight…..

āž”ļøIt’s seeing someone start believing in themselves again.
āž”ļøWatching someone wear something they’ve avoided for years.
āž”ļøSeeing someone finally put themselves first without feeling guilty.
āž”ļøHearing someone say, ā€œI finally feel like me again.ā€

Moments like that remind me why I started this business in the first place.

Exercise has always been about more than changing a body for me, it’s about helping people build a better relationship with themselves.

Now I’ve got this drive to help others in this way ….
I don’t think that’ll ever change and I’m so happy with that😌

17/06/2026

We’ve been taught that if we just changed our body…

šŸ’ŖWe’d finally be confident
😃We’d finally be happy
😌We’d finally feel enough

šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøI don’t believe that’s truešŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

I’ve worked with so many incredible people who didn’t need another just another diet or workout plan….

They needed a space where they could stop fighting themselves and start understanding themselvesāļø

I coach in a way that doesn’t encourage people to become somebody else but help them reconnect with who they really are.

Don’t get me wrong, the body matters…

But it’s only one part of the story. 🫶

āž”ļøHave you ever believed that changing your body would solve everything?
