A fantastic morning at the Summer League’s end of season tournament.

Warwick Ladies finished 3rd 🥉 out of 8 teams!

Thank you all who came and played so hard in this heat! (And to my family who all turned up to cheer us on!)

We had Sharon from Stockton Club (Sam’s cousin) helping us out which we were grateful for.

Considering the only team we lost against (3rd game back to back!) won the league and tournament I think we played very well!

Warwick Alpacas 28-21 Pugs

After a difficult result last week, the Alpacas bounced back with a fantastic win against a competitive Pugs side.

Even in the heat, the team kept the intensity up whilst remaining calm throughout. We didn't panic when we were closed in through mid court and worked the ball around magnificently with support available throughout the court.

A big thanks to Sofie and Holly for stepping in, a great team performance by all.

Also a big thank you to our Captain Jen and her sideline support which is much appreciated!!

🏆 Congratulations to Laura on POTM, her persistent running and movement, even in the heat 🥵, played a pivotal role in moving the ball up court, and her swift reactions achieving several intercepts and recovering stray balls! Well deserved.

Wednesday 8th July

Well done everyone on playing through such a tough match in the heat, everyone did so, so well!

A very well deserved POTM Claudia Sam. Such strong defence and fought until the very end against a very tall shooter 💪

Warwick Ladies Wednesday As

A close game against Kenilworth Knights for Wednesday As. We had a good start being ahead for the first half, however it wasn't meant to be as Knights snuck ahead in the final quarter.

Well done to Katie B for getting player, and thank you to KP for stepping in to play 🙌

Lovely to have our captain Jen back on supervision duties too 😍

Sunday 21st June
Another hot hot netball match

Well fought, with a score line that doesn't show the sheer determination from everyone on court ....everyone swapping around each qtr to give rest moments in the heat.

Every one deserved a medal on this one 🤩
Thank you ladies for brilliant support and playing out of position.

These two were on fire and endless running /defending/shooting and enthusiasm to keep going

Warwick Ladies Sunday League
Sunday 14th June

Hot hot game against Offchurch. Everyone's efforts on this game were amazing, the heat was almost unbearable but the team played brilliantly.

An injury in the 1st qtr meant we required a substitution kindly provided by Hayley (Warriors) and the team switched positions to accommodate some time off court 🥵

Thanks to everyone as this was tough especially at Centre! POTM for both umpire and opposition went to Meg and truly deserved, her defending is insane and also her energy levels at C were phenomenal!

Warwick Ladies Wednesday Bs

Wed 17th vs Court Queens

Tough match against the top of the table, this team are the ones to beat by the looks of it.

Fantastic performance in warm conditions against a very skilled organised team, Bees fought well and hats off to our defense for making their attack work for the ball.

Special thanks to Hannah & Jo for stepping into GA to assist on shooting you both smashed it!

And to our guest Bee Laura Cranshaw who as always never runs out of energy or skills on the court!

Warwick Ladies Wednesday Alpacas
Warwick Ladies 40-15 Fever

The Alpacas had a great game on Wednesday evening, beating Fever 40-15. The game started well with strong play up and down the court.

In the second half the defence stepped it up to another level only conceding 3 goals.

Well done to Katy who supported centre court moving the ball down the court and finished those moves with some great shots earning her player of the match!

Sunday 7th June
Warwick Ladies 18-35 Warriors

Brilliantly competitive game with only 6 players for the full match. In hot and sticky conditions we found energy throughout the game.

Well played team it was tough but still fun!
