We've enjoyed a fantastic afternoon as one of our valued sponsors, Simpson Financial Services Limited, held their annual charity bowls event.

It was great to see so many members of the Simpson Financial Services team out on the green, enjoying some friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and making the most of the sunshine.

Most importantly, the event was held in support of Helping Hands Community Project, helping to raise funds for a fantastic local cause. ❤️

🏆 COUNTY FINALISTS AND NATIONAL FINALS QUALIFIERS! 🏆

Congratulations to Mark Smith, Luke Horne and Adam Smith, who booked their place in the Warwickshire Men's Triples final with a brilliant victory over Erdington Court BC in yesterday's county semi-final.

The win not only secures a place in the county final but also means qualification for the 2026 Bowls England National Finals at Victoria Park, Leamington Spa.

The trio will now represent both Avenue and Warwickshire on the national stage, with the Men's Triples taking place between 22nd and 25th August. 👏

Three matches, three wins for Avenue in the Cov 6 League! 🔥

Monday evening saw the team continue our excellent start to the campaign with an 8-2 victory on points over Coventry Avenue BC.

It was a closely fought contest throughout, with Avenue edging the overall shots 56-53 to secure another valuable win and maintain our momentum in the league. 💪

Another excellent result for Avenue in the Cov 6 League! 👏

Following our opening victory over Three Spires BC, the team continued their strong start to the campaign with a maximum-points win over Rugby BC on Monday evening.

Avenue produced a number of impressive performances across the rinks to secure all 10 points and maintain their early momentum ⭐

A hugely successful spell for Avenue across the inter-club competitions with strong performances and plenty of wins on the board! 🏆

Both Avenue sides progressed in the Ivens Cup with impressive displays, while the Men’s Top Club team produced an outstanding performance to secure a clean sweep against Stoke 🙌

There was also a great showing in the Club Two Fours competition as Avenue A booked their place in the next round with a convincing victory over Three Spires 👏
