Triple Header Weekend!!!

Our U13s kick off our weekend with a game against Stanningley at 13:00

Then followed by our mens team at 14:30 against Peterborough

To close off our day of Rugby League our women’s team play against Coventry Bears at 16:30

The ladies only went and smash it today at Telford taking the win over Aston Warriors 22-0.
This win put us at the top of the table into the last weekend of games before the final at home on the 26th of July.

A huge well done to Chelsea who was awarded player of the match for the second time this season.

Well done all, huge team effort out there today.

The ladies traveled to Coventry yesterday for a triangular league games.

They came out on top in both games which is a testament to how hard they’ve been working on and off the pitch.

Jones’ came way with our player of the day being an all rounder on the pitch but especially her boot to keep the score on our side. She is a huge asset to this team.

Sundays first game saw us take on a physical Coventry Bears. Royals fought hard and took the win 14-6.

Well done to Chelsea Round on her player of the match award. Leading by example, big hits, hard runs and a try to top it off.

For their final game yesterday, the girls put in a dominant performance against Nottingham Outlaws. It was their best display of the day, with the team working hard from start to finish to secure a fantastic win.

A huge congratulations to Jess, who was named Player of the Match in only her second game for the Royals. Jess also crossed the line for a brilliant try, helping add to the scoreboard.

Well done to everyone who played this weekend and represented the club so well.

The ladies head over to Nottingham Outlaws for today’s round robin.

The Royals ladies have named their squad to travel to Nottingham to take on the Nottingham Outlaws Rugby League and Coventry Bears Rugby League Club on Sunday.

The ladies put in a strong performance today against but were ultimately on the wrong side of the result.

Telford crossed twice in the opening few minutes and then again with the final play of the game. Despite the scoreline, the girls showed great determination and effort throughout, controlling much of the match and creating plenty of opportunities. We just couldn’t quite get over the line when it mattered.

There are so many positives to take away from today. We saw several players make their debuts, and we’re incredibly proud to welcome them to the Royals family.

This team has plenty of potential, and we’re excited to see what this group can achieve together. We’ll take the lessons from today, work hard at training this week, and come back stronger for next week’s round.
