Academy goalkeeper Phoenix Blayney has signed for English Premier League Champions, Arsenal ✍️🔴

The 15 year old has climbed through the ranks of our academy and is a current Northern Ireland U17 international 💪

Phoenix will spend the remainder of the season with the Invermen, featuring regularly for our Olympic and NIFL U18 sides before moving to London next season 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Last week our 2014 & 2015 squads travelled to Glasgow to take on Celtic and Rangers in pre-season friendlies 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Our 2015 ‘A’ side are through to the last 8 of the O’Neill’s Foyle Cup! 🏆🔴

After going unbeaten in the group stage, they then overcame Inishowen Youth in the last 16, winning 2-1 to set up a clash with Lisdrum Youth Colts 👏

We can confirm that U16 academy player Jude Crawford has completed a move to English Premier League side, Hull City 🐯

It’s a fantastic move for the NI U16 international full-back who has come through the ranks in our academy, winning the U14 National League Cup, U16 NIFL Academy League, NIYFA Cup amongst many other successes and achievements 💪

Last season, Jude was a part of club history as he made his European debut in the UEFA Youth League, starting both games against Racing Union of Luxembourg 🌍

We wish Jude all the best on the move to Hull City and we look forward to watching him continue his development with the Premier League club 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
