Looking to grow your arms?
Simple.
Treat them like every other muscle!
Train them to failure.
Progressively overloaded.
Give them enough volume.
Make them wish they weren't attached to your body.
Let's be honest, summer is here and its gonna take more than one workout to get ready for it.
Weight loss/gain takes time, its not an overnight process and your in for a grind.
But the habits you build along the way along with the strength, fitness etc you gain is worth it so KEEP AT IT!
What's your go to PR song?
Also remember, if weight heavy get a spotter!
I think its goes without saying. Dont drop the weights!
Equipment should be returned to earth in a controlled fashion, not plummeting down like the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs.
Yes, fair enough if you have pushed yourself to complete failure you may not be able to, but let's be honest thats usually not the case.
Please think of your fellow gym goers and dont batter the equipment around.
Much love! š§”
Are you using your gyms best resource?
The staff at a gym likely know the place better than you ever will, they also have gone through specific training and likely train like hell themselves.
Gyms can have YEARS of experience in their gym in terms of staff members at any one point, just ask them what you need to know and be prepared for the info dump!
Pre workout can be great, it can genuinely make your workouts feel easier and the weight feel lighter.
Just remember..... they aren't!
Have you ever pushed a set that hard you almost went for a power nap immediately after?
If you have, then you probably know what muscular failure feels like, however mibby dont push to the point of passing out in the future.....
Everyone should experience true failure in the gym be that getting completely gassed from cardio or maxing out on reps at a lift.
Knowing what training to your limit feels like means you can gauge how much you have in reserve so your training close to that point of failing consistently and getting that intensity which leads to progress.
Just make sure you have a spotter where relevant!
Currently I do two leg sessions a week, one longer more quad focused workout and one a bit shorter but more focused on hamstrings and glutes.
Give this workout a try, normally takes me 40mins, and tailor it to yourself.
For example, if your more advanced then maybe throw some drop sets in or increase total sets in the same time by super seting for more volume.
As you get more advanced in training, it doesn't mean you need to start doing crazy exercises, just hit what works HARD.
