Our member Jack Purdie continued his great form of late with a very good 36 hole score of 141 in the Viking Krus at Largs Golf Club on Sunday, picking up 4th place in the Ayrshire event. Well done Jack 👏

What a finals day we had today with the championship going extra holes for the 1st time in many years

Congratulations to Rory on coming away with the title but Alan provided a worthy opponent with his blistering start and his willingness to keep going by taking the match to the 37th hole 👏🏻

Also congratulations to Alisdair who won on the 18th against Davie in what was also a very well contested game

Well done to all for making it up to watch and support the players

The championship will tee off at 9am and around 1/1.30 for the afternoon round with the John Mcgown trophy and others following the championship second round

Yesterday our course record was broken by Jack Purdie with a superb round of 62.

Jack was previously tied with the old course record at 63 with Rory Acheson
