Despite our game today with the Forty Club getting rained off early this morning, the ground is drying up and we're hopeful that our match with Boroughmuir CC will be on tomorrow. The covers remain on though no more rain is expected 🤞🌥️

Despite our efforts, our game against Forty Club Scotland has had to be cancelled this morning due to heavy rainfall.

The club will open as normal from 3pm.

A second reserve date for the competition will be announced in due course.

We welcome Dunfermline CC to The Tryst this afternoon in a 40 over match to restart the Murray Peden Trophy, a fixture the two clubs used to compete in annually until 1996. As part of our 150t( anniversary season, we’re excited to bring it back!

THANK YOU everyone for a great weekend!

As our season comes to a close, we say goodbye to our overseas amateur Riley Bettington.

After arriving from Taranaki, New Zealand, Riley joined us in April after impressive seasons at Stratford CC back home.

During his time at Stenhousemuir, Riley racked up 560 runs in all competitions across 27 innings (2 not outs). His top score came against Dunfermline & Carnegie in the Forth Valley Cup, 96 runs (45 balls). He also took 21 wickets across the season.

We also got to welcome Riley’s family to in June. A big thank you to them for all the support they have given us this summer.

Thanks for everything you have given to our club Riley, both on and off the field. Safe travels back to New Zealand and all the best with your season back home.
