Today's match saw us at home to EKYC in the first League game of the season.

First chance came on 5 minutes when Liam's long kick put Matthew through on goal but he was bundled to the ground on the edge of the box, up stepped Frazer P and he fired a tremendous freekick into the net ⚽
Kirkfield 1-0 EKYC.

Kirkfield doubled their lead on 16 minutes. A quick throw in by Frazer P sent Matthew down the line and after skipping over the 1st challenge he cut inside the defender and smashed the ball past the keeper ⚽
Kirkfield 2-0 EKYC.

20 minutes and it was 3. Cammy's inch perfect pass to Matthew put him in on goal and he coolly rolled the ball into the corner ⚽
Kirkfield 3-0 EKYC.

30 minutes and Adam's quick pass saw Rhys out pace the defender's and finish well in the corner ⚽

Half-time Kirkfield 4-0 EKYC.

Into the second half and Aaron had a chance on 50 minutes.Cammy's ball over top put Aaron through on goal but the defender did well to get back and block. 55 minutes and Aaron made it 5 when he was quickest to react in the box and he smashed the ball into the top corner ⚽
Kirkfield 5-0 EKYC.

Should have been 6 on 69 minutes. Ryan's freekick put Sam clean through on goal but the keeper saved well and Matthew's follow up shot went just over the bar. 80 minutes and Matthew turned provider when his quick turn and pass found Dan on the edge box and he finished into the corner past the keeper ⚽

Full-time Kirkfield 6-0 EKYC.

A really strong team performance today, some fantastic play on show and 6 terrific goals.
