I love the creativity of having to adapt our sessions in the gym to work towards improving weaknesses for competition days. โฃ

When Sarah comes into the Studio after each competition, we will generally have a few minor tweaks to make. This means that next time she goes out to compete, weโve tackled a slight weakness that aims at improving her ability to get the highest score possible. โฃ

This last year has seen some incredible wins at the International level, and Iโm excited to see how Sarah goes with her new horse. โฃ

Weโve been working together a number of years and have managed to build some amazing strength and mobility. โฃ

This has helped with the recovery from his Op, coming back so much quicker than he would have if heโd have never trained before. โฃ

Little did she know, one day she would be arriving early for her cup of coffee, hanging around after her session to read the fitness magazines with another brew of course, plus attending the Saturday group classes too. โฃ

A complete transformation of mindset has been achieved for Anne-Marie since starting. Not only that weโve made tremendous progress with her health and arthritis in her hips. โฃ

Iโm sure she wonโt mind me saying that when we started, most single leg work was a struggle to even get the knee to the floor. Today we are accomplishing front foot elevated split squats and getting the knee to the ground. โฃ

Her range of motion in her hips has increased ten fold as we have progressed. Plus the fluidity with the exercises she completes is a pleasure to witness as she becomes more mobile and pain free.โฃ

Iain has improved his bench massively since he started with us. Considering he was a person who has never set foot in a gym before aswellโฃ

- [ ] Before you start (If you know how to do a cat/cow) get into the cat position and really try and round your upper back. โฃ
- [ ] Use a triangle as I find the grip is better than ropes and you donโt compromise weight for the rope wrecking your hands. โฃ
- [ ] Keep the hips above your knees and donโt sink backwards into your heels when you initiate the pull. โฃ
- [ ] Start the pull from your Abs (try not to use momentum to get the weight moving)โฃ
- [ ] Pause at the bottom and control back to the start position. โฃ
- [ ] Your aim is to keep the Abs switched on throughout the whole movement. โฃ
