⚽️ Half time will see the next generation take to the pitch again, as Orkney Football Academy return for another session.

🦸🏼‍♂️ Halftime Hero’s 🦸🏻‍♂️

We saw Orkney Football Academy’s very first Halftime Heroes take to the pitch, during the break against Bunillidh Thistle on Saturday.

It was fantastic to see the young players experience playing on the main pitch, in front of the crowd, and getting a taste of the senior matchday atmosphere. ⚽️👏

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support the players, and well done to the kids as well. We’re sure they loved the experience!

📅 Halftime Heroes will return on Saturday 5th September, when we host Halkirk United.

We’d love to see another great crowd there supporting both our young Halftime Heroes and the Club. 🔴⚽️

Come along, cheer them on and help us make it another memorable experience for everyone!

Man of the match in Saturday’s 2-0 win was George Wylie.

George has cemented himself in the back 4 with two impressive performances to start of the season, making himself a presence at the other end as well, grabbing a goal in each game so far!

Pictured also is our half time raffle winner, sponsored by Highland Park Whisky.

No game scheduled for Orkney this Saturday. So all eyes are on preparing for the next fixture, at home against Halkirk on 5th September.
