Can I please ask you to join me in congratulating on his departure for the worlds in vegas. He hasn’t even been training with us 2 years yet.


• He trains consistently week in week out
• he competes and has won 🥇 far too many medals to count
• he is our fastest awarded blue belt in just 11months
• He is always helping others where he can
• He travels and gives his energy to many people on the same path as him - hard work attracts hard work.
• for the age of 54 years old he is setting our small club on a massive scale and inspiring everyone around him.

Massive well done to alyse and Brodie on there well deserved promotion to solid grey belt. Hard work and consistency has been paying off. And they missed our recent gathering so it’s good to catch them up on what they deserve. 🙏🏻🙌🙌 keep training hard troops.

Was great to get along to BASE Jiu Jitsu - BJJ School Belfast today and do some training. What a great gym with a bunch of high level dudes.

We’ve got Ash Williams coming to the gym for a NoGi seminar next Friday (14th August). It’s a great opportunity to learn from one of the UK’s most accomplished grapplers.

I’ve been to a few of Ash’s seminars now and I’d honestly recommend them to anyone who trains. Whether you’ve been training for 6 months or 6 years, you’ll always come away with something that improves your game. Ash has a brilliant coaching style - loads of technical detail, explained in a way that’s easy to understand, with plenty of laughs along the way too.

We’re really looking to get a good turnout for this one. Seminars like this are a huge benefit to everyone in the academy, and the more support we show, the more opportunities we’ll have to bring top-level coaches in again.

DC has been flat out with the renovations at the Dunfermline gym, so left the promotion for this a bit later than planned. If you could help out by sharing this post, we’d really appreciate it. 🙏

Yesterday for our summer get together - grading we had an awesome day.

We have the best bunch of people and it’s great to see other people be happy about other people doing good things in life.
