A new chapter begins… 🧡⚽🐯

Couldn’t be prouder to see Corbin joining Eastside Rapids Academy. It’s an amazing opportunity for him to take the next step, challenge himself and continue his development in what is an absolutely fantastic academy setup.

His time at Raith Rapids has been wonderful and has given both Corbin and me so many memories that we’ll never forget.

The journey started all those years ago at Thunder, as a development team that seemed to batter everyone in front of them! That group progressed together into the advanced league and became Rapids, and what an awesome journey it has been. Corbin has had the opportunity to play alongside some fantastic players, make great friends and be part of a team that has given us both some incredible experiences.

Anyone who knows Corbin knows how much football means to him. From starting out at 5s, his dedication, commitment and loyalty to Rapids has been incredible. He has been Golden Boot winner every season, as well as being voted Parents’ Player and/or Players’ Player in most seasons.

But what makes me proudest isn’t the goals or the awards. It’s that he has always turned up, worked hard, committed himself to his team and remained loyal to his teammates. Through the wins, defeats, brilliant seasons and more difficult periods, he has always wanted to play and give everything for his team.

He leaves Rapids with some amazing memories, friendships and experiences, and I know the club and the boys he has grown up playing alongside will always mean a huge amount to him — and to me.

Now it’s time for a new challenge.

The squad at Eastside Rapids Academy is full of genuinely talented young players. Corbin certainly won’t be walking in as the best player there — and that’s exactly what makes this such an exciting opportunity. He’ll have to push himself, work harder, compete for his place and raise his game every time he trains and plays. I’m sure there will be challenges along the way, but knowing his attitude and determination, I’m sure he’s up for the task.

Another season at the highest level, with new challenges, new experiences and plenty of football ahead.

Now it's time to enjoy a well-earned break before we come back refreshed, stronger and ready to take on the new season together.

🏆 TROPHY NIGHT IS HERE! 💙🦁

Tonight, we come together at Styx Kirkcaldy to celebrate another memorable season for our Raith Rovers Rapids 2013s.

Like every grassroots football season, this one has had its challenges, its highs, its changes and plenty of special moments. We've said goodbye to some teammates, welcomed new faces into the squad, and through it all the boys have continued to grow together both on and off the pitch.

This evening is about recognising everyone who has played their part.

👏 To our incredible coaches - thank you for the time, energy, patience and commitment you give so generously. Week after week, whatever the weather, you continue to inspire, encourage and develop every single player. Everything you do is appreciated.

👏 To our amazing parents, families and supporters - thank you for every lift, every early morning, every sideline cheer, the fundraising event and every bit of encouragement you've given throughout the season.

👏 And to our fantastic boys - thank you for your commitment, resilience, teamwork and the way you've represented the Rapids this season. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves.

💙⚽ Happy Father's Day ⚽💙

Today we're celebrating all the dads, grandads, stepdads and father figures who support our boys throughout the season.

From early morning kick-offs and long away trips, to training sessions, encouragement from the sidelines and being there whenever they're needed - thank you for everything you do.

The boys might not always say it, but they are incredibly grateful for the time, support and commitment you give week in, week out.

Grassroots football wouldn't be the same without you.

Nice performance tonight from our Raith Rapids against a very good Woodside team that’s been together for a long time and rarely tastes defeat. I thought we started a bit slowly, which was to be expected with the number of new boys making their first appearance tonight. Once we got going and started pressing a bit higher up the pitch, our passing improved, we looked much more composed, and there was some really nice link-up play throughout the team.

The new lads have settled in brilliantly, and I'm really looking forward to seeing the team gel and progress over the next few months. Special mention to Big Bad Bobby for a tremendous performance. Corbin grabbed four goals tonight, Rabs Man of the Match goes to Jacob for an excellent, commanding display. Well done, wee man! Refs Man of the Match was Corbin for some great strikes tonight with the best being a great team passing sequence ending up with an awesome volley low past the keeper.
