Upcoming Dan Grade Course has just been announced.

Some important dates for all:

Tuesday 28th July - both classes on as normal

Friday 31st July - 6pm-7pm catch up Junior grading and Senior grading. 7pm onwards is senior class although if a junior wants to take part in this then they are more than welcome.

1st August to 20th August - holiday ☀️

Friday 21st August onwards - classes back to normal.

Congratulations to all our junior grades who sat their grading last night at Kirkcaldy YMCA.

All done exceptionally well in displaying what they had learned over the past few months.

Last night saw 8 white belts become yellow belts (we still have another 4 that were on holiday so will sit their grade later). This shows how our little club is beginning to grow again.

Keep up the hard work and the rewards will come. Next milestone for the kids to aim for is the Central Scotland Open in September.

Big news. New class times.

Friday:
Juniors 1800-1900hrs
Cadets and seniors 1900-2030hrs

We have decided to stop/change the day for the Saturday morning class.

The feeling amongst the club was that we were missing the sunny weekends. We believe that changing the day will benefit those who attend the Saturday classes and also increase attendance with some students from the busier Tuesday night class attending.

Junior Grading this Tuesday at Kirkcaldy YMCA.

Doors will be opened at 1730hrs. Grading will start 1800hrs prompt.

Grading fee is £20. Please remember to bring your license book.

On Wednesday, Red Gate were invited to Coaltown of Balgonie Primary School to give an introduction to karate as part of the pupils’ Sportathon Day.

All the kids were well behaved and enjoyed their session with us.
