Wet, rainy, soggy day of rugby. It was glorious and made me want to be out there playing in the worst kind of way. My transition into retirement is going to be a bumpy ride.

These are challenging times for rugby clubs around the world. What you are doing is important. Grassroots rugby matters more than ever. People need an outlet from stress, connection, and community.

Treat yourself. You deserve it.

And some beer. I'm a simple person with simple needs.

The strongest clubs aren't built on superheroes. They're built on sustainable systems and shared efforts. Don't build a club that survives because of one volunteer. Build one that thrives because everyone carries a small part of the load.
