We're not sure who got the biggest mental health boost from lots of wonderful trike rides to Burleigh Sands this summer - but we think it may well have been our own Michelle!

Iris, Ian, Christine and Kirsteen were proud to represent the Kinross CWAS Chapter in Dundee recently at the CWAS grand gathering, an annual event for volunteers. They joined a large parade of trishaws from Cycling Without Age Scotland SCIO and rode under the huge Tay Whale Sculpture and along the Dundee Waterfront.

Our Trishaw container is looking very fresh and blue! Thank you to all the volunteers who gave up their morning to paint it.

Trike regulars Faiza and Chris enjoyed a trip around the loch last week. Faiza said 'this was our first time round the whole loch and we loved it! We're so grateful for the community cycling, especially the all-ability sessions which provide trikes for those of us with injuries or a lack of confidence on regular bikes.'

We were delighted to be part of Saturday's parade for the CHAS Farewell in the Park Event. We wish our friends at CHAS every success with their move!

And just like that, the summer holidays are nearly over. We had six Learn to Ride sessions on Wednesday mornings with 18 children learning new cycling skills. We also had some very pleased parents and grandparents!
Thanks to everyone who helped us run the sessions, and to our funders at The Gannochy Trust and TACTRAN Get on the Go
We hope to be able to run more sessions in October, so watch this space.

We have been gifted a recumbent trike as a donation. A huge thank you to Alasdair Macdonald for his kind gift, which we hope will get even more people out and about in Kinross-shire. To book a space on our all-ability bike rides, visit our website at www.ktacc.org.uk

After some instructions and demonstrations from our Learn to Ride pupils, the Trishaws wanted to join in and tried out some tricky manoeuvres.
It was wonderful to see some joyful intergenerational cycling in Kinross!
