Introducing solid foods is the start of a whole new chapter for you and your baby.

Come to a Starting Solids workshop to help you get your baby off to a great start. The workshop will help you decide:

🟢When your baby is ready to try solid food
🟢What foods to start with
🟢When your baby is hungry and when they’ve had enough
🟢How to make mealtimes an enjoyable experience for both of you

The HENRY programme can help everyone with a baby or a young child under 5. Every parent who attends this programme learns something new and useful.

If you have at least one child under 5 years old old and can answer 'yes' to any of the questions below then HENRY is for you:

🟢 Would you like to feel more confident as a parent?
🟢 Would you like some support to give your child a healthy start?
🟢 Do you wish your child would eat more fruit and vegetables?
🟢 Would you like to reduce mealtime stress?
🟢 Would you like to enjoy being active together as a family more often?
🟢 Are you interested in some ideas to get children away from the TV?

We have two HENRY Healthy Families Right From the Start programmes starting in September - one starting on Tuesday 15 September at Parks Family Hub with the other starting on Monday 21 September at Rainbow Family Hub. See the attached photos for details on how to book.

🚴‍♂️The 2026 Lloyds Tour of Britain Men is coming to Hull, with the city hosting the start of Stage Three on Friday 4 September. Riders will set off from East Park, travelling along Holderness Road before heading through Bilton and out to the east coast on an exciting 194.1km route to Beverley.

This is a fantastic opportunity to see some of the world's best cyclists in action and experience the incredible atmosphere that the Tour brings to our city.
