Malet Vikings Under 13s

Today Malet Vikings was away to Priory Thunder cats
Weather conditions extremely windy 🌬️ but the game was strong from the start coming up to half time thought it was going to be 0-0 draw but thundercats managed to score with a couple of minutes to go! Second half again the ball was mainly at Vikings side but the boys put the work in passing and communicating and our goal keeper saving some nail biting shots! Then making it a 1-1 draw from one of our new boys it was close! But in the last 25 minutes came a few injuries meaning no subs and the boys working extra hard! End result a lose of 3-1!
Malet Vikings did themselves proud! 😊 ❤️ 💙 🤍

Onwards and upwards to the next game!!!

🏆 Parents Player of the Match goes to- Kase another amazing game this week as goal keeper with some brilliant saves, throwing yourself about and some brilliant kicks too!
🏆 Coaches Player of the Match goes to- Harrison you got stuck in with the tackles, non stop, all over and and an all round good game! Well done 👏

The first game of the season today home to Bilton fc!
Malet Vikings started the game strong with 15mins into the game scoring the first goal ⚽️ ! But ended the 1st half of the game 2-1 down! Then second half came and Malet was stronger then ever coming together as a team and ended up with a 4-3 win! 🔴🔵⚪️

🏆 Parents Man of the match go to…goes to our new goal keeper🧤🥅 Kase who was strong in goal, saved some brilliant saves and had a good 1st game! Well done 👏

🏆 Coaches Man of the match go to… Riley you are on fire this week with trainer of the week too! Scoring two goals ⚽️ 🥅 and played a brilliant game in midfield!

Last game for the season! And it was a nail biting, strong game against Marfleet. In the first half plenty of shots taken and ball just not going in. Half time 0-0 then second half was the same but we managed a win 🏆 ending 2-1. Overall the boys played strong and plenty of passing was made and working as a team 🔵🔴⚪️

🏆 Parents Man of the Match goes to JP who played a strong game today on the wing and didn’t shy away!
🏆 Coaches Man of the Match goes to ALL the lads played a brilliant game, working together and ending the season with a win!

On Saturday our boys completed there sponsored walk to Hornsea!
Took 4 and 1/2 hours, 12 miles and over 26,000 steps 👣
Well done 👏 boys!

Some very tired legs and sore feet at the end 🌳🪾🌿

This week we changed our our match days due to our sponsored walk on Saturday! Played against South Cave wasn’t a result we would hope for but the boys played some brilliant football ⚽️ one of the best games! The weather was up and down! A brilliant rainbow 🌈 picture taken from one of parents!

🏆 Parents Man of the Match- Played his last game with us and smashed it as a captain putting 110% into the game- H!
🏆 Coaches Man of the Match- The machine Finn he worked his boots off up and down that pitch and played a solid game!
