Chris Mills is back with Kings for another season. 👑

Chris has been with the club since its formation in 2020, taking on the role of Premier League player-coach from the very beginning.

Since then, he has been part of Kings teams that have won the Yorkshire Cup, HBA League titles and the HBA Cup.
Last season, his Premier League team finished 2nd in the league.
This season, Chris will be looking to go one better.

Kings’ junior basketball training returns on Monday 7rh September, welcoming children from age 8-16.
6-7pm at Hull College, George Street, Hull.
£5 per player.

Karl Buitendam
Karl has been part of Kings from the very beginning, as one of the people who helped start the club back in 2020.

Last season, Karl was player/coach for our Championship team that became league champions, securing promotion to the Premier League.
His team also reached the HBA Plate Final, making it a hugely successful season for the club.

Five years in. Still building. Still Kings. 👑

Callum Mitchell is back with Kings for the 2026/27 season. 🏀
Callum was a key part of our Premier League team last season, helping Kings finish 2nd in the league and reach the HBA Cup Final.

His performances were recognised with a place in the Defensive Team of the Year. 👏

After a successful first season, Callum is back and ready for another season with Kings.

James Kiel is back with Kings for the 2026/27 season. 🏀
James was a key part of our Championship campaign last season, helping Kings secure promotion to the Premier League.
His performances were recognised with a place in the Championship Team of the Season — a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the impact he made throughout the campaign. 👏
Now, after helping us take the next step, James is ready to go again as his team prepare for life in the Premier League.

Gio Marchetti-Wigley is back with Kings for the 2026/27 season. 🏀
Gio was an important part of our Premier League team last season, helping Kings finish 2nd in the league and reach the HBA Cup Final as well as being voted into the Premiership team of the season.
Energetic, high-scoring and never short of hustle, Gio brings intensity to both ends of the court and is always ready to put in the work for the team.
After a successful first season, Gio is ready to go again.

We're delighted to announce that Prince Mwungere will be back with Kings for the 2026/27 season. 🏀
Prince was a huge part of our Championship-winning campaign last season, helping the team secure promotion to the Premier League.
His performances were also recognised individually, with Prince being named League MVP by the officials and selected in the Team of the Year. 👏
But for Prince, it's about much more than individual awards:
“I love playing for Kings because of the brotherhood and how we always have each other's backs on the court.
There is nothing better than working hard together in practice and celebrating a big win as a team.
For next season, I am super excited to get back out there, get even better, and win a lot more games with the boys — and hopefully get another trophy under our belt.”
After helping to earn promotion last season, Prince is ready to take on the next challenge.

Pre-season training starts next week, and with the new season tipping off on 6th October, there's just six weeks to get ready.
