Kilwinning Rangers Madrid 2015

The Madrid boys are back in league duty tomorrow as we welcome Dean Thistle to KSC.

We are looking to build on our good performance against Cumnock on Wednesday night to keep this momentum going ⚽️

AYFL Match Day 1 ⚽️

Cumnock Juniors 2015s were the visitors to KSC for our first Tier 1 league fixture and we knew Cumnock would be a great test for our boys.

The game started brightly for the young Buffs as Jude Dorrans found the net with a simple tap in within the first couple of minutes following a great bit of link up play with Lewis.
For the next 15 minutes the boys had the lions share of possession and controlled the tempo of the game, Cumnock were always a threat on the counter but Bobby and Joey done well to sweep everything up with James intelligently providing that extra layer of cover from CM. The boys found themselves two ahead not long before half time due to an unfortunate OG by a Cumnock player.
Going into the second half the boys managed to score more goals through Lewis with a great header and well worked goal with Adam whipping in a fantastic cross, Clyde by being at the right place at the right time found the break of the ball landing at his feet for a tap in, Jude who rounded the keeper to score a brace and Aaron with a superb strike just inside the box to finish off a counter attack.

Over the coming days, our Facebook and Instagram pages will be changing from Kilwinning Rangers 2015 to Kilwinning Rangers Madrid 2015.

The pages will now focus solely on Kilwinning Rangers Madrid 2015, with match updates, photos, videos and other news from the team.

We’ve loved being able to showcase all of the Kilwinning Rangers 2015 teams over the years, but the time has come for each team to have its own dedicated platform.

Kilwinning Rangers Boca 2015 already have plans in place to launch their own social media channels, so keep an eye out for those coming soon.

Andddddd that’s a wrap for this years summer festival 🎬
Today concluded day 3 of 3 and what a day to finish it off!
Our Madrid team were joined by another 7 talented advanced football teams who all put on a show for the watching crowd ⚽️

Thanks again to all the travelling teams and the volunteers for all three days, it’s very much appreciated. See you again next year!

Now that the dust has settled we want to reflect on a fantastic first two days of our own summer festival this past weekend, teams made the journey to Kilwinning from near and far and we couldn’t be any more appreciative 👏 without you we have no festival… like-wise all the volunteers from the full weekend who help make these weekends successful. Thank you!
The biggest thank you goes to the kids who were first class and did themselves and their clubs proud with their performances 💙🤍

On to this weekend now where on Saturday our Madrid team will compete against some top teams from around Scotland and hope to replicate what our Boca and Barca teams did. Can’t wait.

Thanks again everyone, see you again next year where things will get a bit more interesting 🏆😁

Preseason continued tonight as the Madrid boys played out an absolute thriller against a good East End United team tonight.
A thoroughly enjoyable game on a great night for Football ☀️ the standard of goals for both teams was first class ⚽️👏
