Good luck, and have the BEST day!!!!! 🥂💍❤️

Jill is getting married in September, and Amy is getting married in October! 🎉

Some people thought you two were getting married to each other — which, to be fair, would definitely be a marriage made in heaven! 😂❤️

But no… Amy and Jill are both marrying OTHER people! 😂💒

Wishing you both so much love and happiness for your big days! 🥰🥂✨

If you wait for good weather in Scotland, you’d never go anywhere! 😄

After such a hot spell, our wee day trip to the Isle of Cumbrae was overcast, windy and rainy—but still surprisingly warm. We even worked up a sweat doing the 10-mile route!

The terrain is perfectly flat and ideal for a leisurely stroll. We finished the day with 26,000 steps, plenty of chat, and lots of fresh sea air.

A trip to Millport is such an easy, affordable day out over the summer holidays. There are plenty of ferries—just park up in Largs and either walk around the island or take a bike. You can even hire bikes when you get there. Cheap, cheerful, and a great way to spend the day!

Share your Millport memories—we’d love to hear them. It’s surprising how many people have never been!

Well done, folks! 👏 ☀️

Last Saturday’s hike up Ben Vorlich and Stùc a’ Chroin was epic. We had fun, but so much more happens when you climb a mountain.

People call it mountain therapy, climatotherapy, or ecotherapy — whether it’s the biological effects of high-altitude air or the psychological reset that comes from being immersed in nature.

• Altitude adaptation can improve cardiovascular efficiency and stimulate red blood cell production.
• Nature immersion (Shinrin-Yoku / forest bathing) is linked to lower stress and improved wellbeing.
• Trees and mountain plants release phytoncides, compounds that may help support immune function.
• The “awe effect” of standing on a summit can quiet mental noise and bring clarity and gratitude.
• Cleaner mountain air means fewer pollutants, allergens, and a freshness you genuinely feel.

And honestly, Ben Vorlich and Stùc a’ Chroin delivered all of it. A brilliant hill with that deceptive false summit… then suddenly the real summit appears — absolutely massive. Moderate to difficult going, but the reward is huge. The kind of day that resets your brain completely.

Gym day out 🏔️

Can’t wait for the next one in June — the 10-mile Millport loop on June 28th.
