🔥 Another huge win for Alba!

After the strokeplay, we held a narrow 60–52 lead, with special mentions to Jon Mcgowan and Jonathan Wallace Mcclymont, who both shot brilliant -2 rounds, finishing 4th and 6th respectively.

That meant it was all to play for going into the matchplay, where the teams couldn’t be separated, finishing 2–2.

🏆 A massive performance came in the prestige tie, with Daryl Grover & William Mckay Jnr beating Scotland No.2 John Neill & Brian Maneely 2&1 to help secure the overall victory.

👏 Another special mention to Susan Stevenson , who produced a fantastic +1 round on a difficult course. Amazing shooting, Suzie! 🎉

Today saw the first FootGolf event held at Golf It! Glasgow. With this being the final qualifying opportunity for the Scotland Development Cup, there was plenty at stake and a strong field competing.

The Scottish Open returned to the picturesque Macdonald Cardrona in Peebles, with Scotland’s biggest FootGolf event once again attracting a world class field.

Despite battling true Scottish weather, gusting winds on Friday and Saturday before sunshine and showers on Sunday, it was another fantastic weekend of FootGolf.

🏆 William Mckay Jnr stole the headlines by winning the Junior Scottish Open by two shots over his nearest challenger.

What an incredible achievement! William now joins a very small group of Scottish players to have won a major championship and becomes the first-ever Alba FootGolf player to do so. A well-deserved reward for all the hard work and dedication you’ve put into your game. 👏

⛳️Highland Open Highlights ⛳️

What a fantastic weekend of FootGolf in the Highlands! Saturday saw the Craggan Open at Cluny Adventure, followed by the Rothes Open at Rothes Golf Club on Sunday, with both events combining to make up the Highland Open.

From sunshine and sunburn on Saturday to rain on Sunday, we experienced a bit of everything, but it made for a thoroughly enjoyable weekend on some fantastic courses.

🏆 John Walter claimed 1st place in the Amateur category.
🥈 Garry Scholes finished 2nd in the Over 45’s and an excellent 3rd overall in the Amateur category.

A great day at Lockerbie Golf Club for the Lowlands Open, with several Alba players putting in strong performances. 👏

🥈 Jonathan Wallace Mcclymont finished 2nd in the Over 55’s.

🎯 Stephen Cowan finished 4th in the Over 45’s and was in contention for back-to-back podium finishes.

👏 William Mckay finished 9th in the Men’s category.

👏 John Walter finished 12th in the Men’s category.

🤕 Unfortunately Garry Scholes was unable to defend his Over 45’s title due to injury. Get well soon, mate. 💪

Great to see so many Scotland squad members back in action after the FootGolf World Cup in Acapulco. Congratulations to the Scottish Men’s Team on an excellent 5th place finish. 👏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

🔥 Alba then powered on in the matchplay to secure a brilliant 5½–2½ win.
