It's great to watch the hobby scene grow in Ayrshire!

Another week of gaming over at KTC, a few more different games systems this week including Sigmar, Star Wars and Necromunda. Though I didn't get pics of the Necromunda game, I didn't realise it was in another room 🙈 (sorry Tam)

But anyway next week's the big GT so stay tuned for all the action and the pictures

We're starting up a Sigmar League and were also doing a Kill Team event

Friday means tabletop gaming night over at KTC
It was all 40k this week, everybody getting reps in for the big GT

Not a fan of 40k were having an aos league starting in September 1st. There's also plenty of Blood Bowl players in the Discord if fantasy American football is more your thing

We can’t wait to welcome you to the Ayrshire Games Expo. We’re delighted to have had such a good reception with only a handful of online tickets remaining.

Doonhamer Friday Night Social – Friday 11th of September 🍻

We’re opening the doors early on the Friday of the Doonhamer weekend for a proper social night at Loreburn Hall – open to all 40K and Kill Team ticket holders! 🎟️

From 6–10pm there will be lots to do including:

• A 40K quiz with prizes to be won
• The bar will be open (alcohol, soft drinks and snacks available)
• 40K & Kill Team tables set up for practice games or just chatting over a chilled game
• Need to paint some last-minute models? Enjoy it with a pint
• Plus a Malifaux exhibition game courtesy of Dumfries Gamers members, open to anyone to join in as part of a number of planned community events over the weekend! 🙌

It’s a great chance to soak up the atmosphere of Scotland’s biggest 40K event, catch up with familiar faces, and if you’re travelling alone it’s the perfect way to meet new people before the main event kicks off.

KTC were back in action this week, some 40k and Bloodbowl on Friday night, and another trip to a Reaper Wargaming tournament this weekend for their first 11th edition tournament.

KTC managed to walk away with 1st Place (Declan), 3rd Place (Johnstone), best painted (Bill), and a joint most sporting award (Peter).

Not quite the clean sweep, but pretty close!

The weekend was also a good opportunity to spend some time with our friends from Ordo Idiotus!

We're back in action this Friday at 6pm, come down and roll some dice!

Big shout-out to Dave from Reaper Gaming also who was in charge for the final team at a reaper event, best of luck with your new venture mate!

It's the summer holidays, and KTC is off for a couple weeks, but that doesn't mean our members stop too!

Over the last two weeks we've been to Vlad's Emporium first 11th RTT, with Declan getting a perfect 100/100/100 to take first place.

Over this weekend a group of us attended Scotland's first UKTC super-major, four heading into the 40k shark tank, and Dave representing us in the two day killteam event.

There was some tough competition at the event, Chris managed to get 5-1, losing out to Innes in the shadow round of the top cut.

Dave secured best overall for kilteam - winning himself a golden ticket to WCW.

Declan also nabbed himself a golden ticket to WCW for 40k thanks to finishing number 1 on ITC points at the midpoint of the current season.

Not bad from the lads this year!
