Spent the weekend celebrating our firecracker, sass pants, feral ‘man’ cub, itty bitty noo noo girl, princess, angel baby girls 4th birthday, our sweet, (with a splash of sour🤪) Nelly.

I question a lot of things in my life, my choices, what I’m doing, whether I’m doing enough, whether I’m doing too much and I 100% question my mothering skills at least 269273 times a week😂

There are days I lose my patience, days I shout when I wish I hadn’t, days I’m overstimulated, touched out and hiding in the kitchen eating something I don’t want to share, days I get into bed and replay something I said or did and think fckkkk, I could’ve handled that better.

I don’t think I’ll ever be the mum who thinks she’s absolutely nailing motherhood buttt then I look at Nelly, so unapologetically herself, louddddd (af), hilarious,stubborn(as sh*ttttt) affectionate, wild, confident, loving, completely unfiltered and so unbelievably sure of who tf she is.

I think that’s the point, maybe being a good mum was never about getting it all right, maybeeee it’s about raising little humans who feel safe enough to be exactly who they are, knowing they are loved through every single version of it.

If that’s the measure, I think we’re doing alright mama💖
