We dont care if its "bowstring 3000", or "mystic turbo99". Or "hypersonic bananaX"....
If its made of 100% SK75 or 100% Spectra 1000 its a good bow string material to use. Cut the marketting out the names and get to the base material.

It cant get any easier.

We warned you all about BCY-X. It took a podcast with Doug Denton to add some weight behind our warnings. It applies to ALL BOWS.

We are warning Against SK99 strings.THere are 2 forms of elasticity in a string. 1 being the materials properties. The other behind the number of twists and the strand count. SK99 has a 25-30% higher strength IT also has a reduction in elasticty. By about 15-17% DONT put it on trad bows. I say this because string twiddlers all raved about recurve string BCY-X. And since that took a hit. It appears Mercury 2 is the new rave. Its a 100% SK99. We dont recomend it

Please remember. We DO NOT recomend a SK99 string such as Mercury2.
Any string maker suggesting this string hasnt done thier homework.
Becareful who you listen to!

Lets get into the guts of ILF limb pad angles.
Lets use a negative interaction to motivate an informative video.
Granted. It does contain an irritated tone.
Appologies for that upfront

Dont ask me for a limb pad angle on ILF... Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
