A repeated excursion to Pleasington Golf Club for the Rabbits Captain, Gary O'Hara annual trip. ⛳️

The weather provided testing conditions, but congratulations to Steve Murray who wins the Non-Rabbit Quiach with 36 points, and to Aaron Stack, who won the Rabbits Howden Trophy with a superb 38 points. 🏆

Tomorrow is the Keighley Golf Club finals weekend, good luck to everyone competing.

Our Ladies ‘A’ Team qualified for the YLCGA ‘A’ Team finals by finishing 2nd in Division 1. Held at Headingley GC on 7th September the team played well in the semifinal narrowly losing out to The Oaks GC by 2 wins to 3.
Congratulations to all the players who represented the club in the matches through the season and in the final. The overall winners were Wath GC.
In 2027 we will be fielding 5 teams in the YLCGA leagues, Scratch, ‘A’, ‘B’, Weekend League and White Rose. This gives most of our members competitive matchplay at clubs across Yorkshire ⛳️

Today we are hosting the Grand Final of the Northwest Golf Series 🏆

The weather was abysmal to start, but is now fine and dry with the players coming to the conclusion of their rounds.

There are a number of great prizes available, and we expect this event to grow tremendously over the years.

Just 2 days after Stefan knocked one in during the Yorkshire v Cumbria Seniors on Monday, our very own member Jeff Gordon has accomplished the same feat!

Keighley Golf Club hosted the Yorkshire Senior Team in the season finale against Cumbria. Needing a win to clinch the Northern Counties League the team didn’t disappoint winning both the morning greensomes and afternoon fourball matches in style.

Highlight of the day was Stefan Priest’s hole in one on the 2nd hole, but there were plenty of birdies and eagles to entertain the team’s supporters.

The rain was a bit of a shock but the course was widely praised and proved the usual great test for matchplay golf.

Today was the club's first Junior Open for quite some time, and credit has to be given to the players for enduring the heat today. All of them made it round, so well done with sticking it out.

The winner with a fantastic score of 40 points was Henry Slater of Bingley St Ives Golf Club.

The runner-up was Joshua Chi of Pannal Golf Club with 37 points, and a superb 71 gross!

Other prize winners included Nathan Hamilton of Bradford Golf Club for nearest the pin on the 8th hole, Lottie Tole of Cookridge with a Back 9 score of 20 points, and Zac Aldis of Bingley also with a Front 9 score of 16 points.

We would absolutely love to see this event grow each year, it's been fantastic to see more and more junior golfers playing at Keighley, long may it continue.
