What a fantastic week it was for the club. 48 hours on from the first team’s defeat of Newcastle Utd U23s, we powered our way to victory over a strong Willington Quay side in the Combination Cup Final at North Shields FC. Great times.

Not at our best first half and the final scoreline flattered us, but still a terrific win to bring us three more points and still hold our lead as top of the table.

No question about the highlight of the day though with Richie Hoggins back in a Heaton Stan shirt, making his debut for us on his birthday and netting within ten minutes of coming on to continue where he left off, doing what he does best. A class act and great to have him back
