💙 The boys in blue were back on the pitch today, facing a side we haven’t met in two seasons - they moved up early after U8s and, after back‑to‑back promotions, we finally crossed paths again. Fair play to them, a very strong and physical team.

We just fell short this time. A rebound off our keeper led to a scrappy goal, and despite battling the wind for the full 50 minutes, the lads couldn’t quite find the equaliser. But the effort, attitude and fight were there from the first whistle to the last.

⭐ MOTM: Charlie - put in a tight, determined shift, never stopped grafting, and showed real resilience out there. Brilliant performance 👏

Boys were back at it tonight and they didn't disappoint! High-intensity graft, mixed with plenty of fun - ball control, defensive drills, shooting practice, tonight had it all! 🎉

Attitudes were spot on and the coaches were buzzing with the effort 👏✌️

Pumas off to a flying start 💙🤍💛

First game of the season and the lads absolutely smashed it, claiming the 3 points 🥳
Energy, speed, composure, teamwork - they had the lot today 🎉

The football they played was superb from start to finish, and the coaches and parents couldn’t be prouder. Every single one of them grafted, linked up well, defended strong, communicated, and encouraged each other all game. Proper team performance 👏👏

They put in such a shift that the coaches couldn’t pick just one standout…
MOTM: awarded collectively to the whole team. That’s how good they were… 💪✌️

And a special shoutout to Dylan P, who scored an absolute rocket from just inside the halfway line after a rightly awarded free kick. A screamer worthy of the opening game!

💙 JARROW FC MARCH – THIS SUNDAY!

This Sunday 14th June, we’re bringing the whole club together for our Sponsored Walk, raising funds to upgrade our facilities and support our 300+ players.

We set off from Perth Green at 10:30am, heading to Hedworth CA — where the bar will be open and the fun begins!

Expect:

• 🍦 Ice cream van
• 🎉 Bouncy castle
• 💦 Chuck‑a‑sponge
• 💙 Over 30 teams and 300 players, girls and boys from age 6+

Whether you’re part of Jarrow FC or just want to cheer us on, everyone is welcome. Or keep an eye out for us along the route — you’ll spot the sea of blue!
