The story of the Kangaroo Trophy. 🦘
In 1935, Western Gailes received a letter from a golf club in Brisbane proposing an exchange of trophies. What arrived was a remarkable silver kangaroo, officially the Queensland Gailes Trophy, but soon known by a rather more memorable name.
Today, it remains one of the most sought-after trophies at the Club.
