Four things GB Runner and coach Jack Kavangh sees holding runners back, over and over again.
None of them are about running harder. They're about running easy when it says easy, adapting when your body asks you to, actually recovering, and picking your races properly.
Swipe through - then tell us which one you're guilty of.

Two Ironmans. Two days. Back to back.
In August, Jen Done raced two full Ironmans on consecutive days - Kalmar on Saturday, Copenhagen on Sunday.
There were tears, very little sleep and in her words, "probably the worst race prep imaginable." But Jen says it came down to two choices: quit before she started or keep taking one more step forward.
So that's what she did. She never let herself think about the finish line, just the next aid station, the next section, one more step at a time, across both races.
She took this challenge on because endurance sport helped her recover from post-natal depression and she wanted to show anyone going through something similar what's possible.
Her advice to those of you with big goals? "Your goal is your goal, no matter the size. Do it for yourself, and remember your body and mind are stronger than you think."
We think Jen is an absolute legend, and we're very proud she's part of Team Enertor. 💚🔥

4,500km. 99 days. One ultramarathon every day.
On 25 April, Georgie Baker set off from London with a goal to run all the way to Asia.
Just months before, a bone stress injury had forced her to stop running for months. But she decided to still give it a go, taking each day as it came and wearing ENERTOR insoles along the way.
Then came illness, heat exhaustion, a painful rib injury, mountains, panic attacks and plenty of moments of doubt.
But she kept going. One day at a time.
We’re so proud to have supported Georgie on this incredible journey with our insoles. Her verdict? “Honestly awesome.”
Georgie ran to raise money for the Blue Marine Foundation, helping protect our oceans. :ocean:

4 habits GB runner Jack Kavanagh swears by to stay injury-free
1. Change up your running surfaces - Mixing up your running with road, trail, grass and track sessions can help reduce the repetitive stress on the body.
2. Invest in good shoes and insoles - Jack rotates his shoes and uses Enertor Running Insoles for extra support and cushioning to help him manage a high training volume.
3. Keep a training journal - Tracking how you feel after every session can help you spot fatigue and niggles before they become bigger problems.
4. Stay honest with yourself - Listen to your body. Sometimes the smartest training decision is knowing when to back off and adapt a session or take an extra recovery day.
Small habits can make a huge difference when it comes to staying healthy, training consistently and performing your best.
