SUN SAFETY - The LTA promotes the Sunguarding Sport guidance from the Melanoma Trust. Please follow the links below for further advice/guidance but the simple tips below are a useful summary:
- Apply sunscreen with an SPF of 30+ to all exposed skin prior to participating and re-apply regularly
- Look to wear appropriate UV protection clothing. Long sleeves where practical, sunhat and sunglasses are also advised.
- Where possible train outside of peak UV hours (11am to 3pm)
- Ensure regular shade breaks.
- Bring plenty of water and remember to hydrate regularly

Any sessions run by our coach will ensure that there are regular breaks built in.
