As if one British title wasn’t enough, Ben Clarke put in an incredible performance to win the British Open!!

Ben scored an incredible 17 points to take the title! Ben won his first 4 heats and only required a 4th place finish to take the top spot in his last heat!🥇🏆

Well done Ben, all at Ipswich are so proud of you!

Ashley Hill finished on 15 points and 4th, James Porter scored 13 and 8th, Richard scored 8 and 13th!!

Incredible performances by all!!

Also, 8 of the finalists were from the Suffolk area, show casing how strong the region is!!

Lily took the title on 18 points, putting in a fantastic performance! Lacey took 2nd and Emily 3rd after a 3 way run off with Lucy Whitehead on 17 points.

The biggest individual event of the British season is here, and Ipswich Eagles are out in force! 🦅🔥

After a brilliant European Individual Championships, there's plenty of momentum behind the Eagles heading into the British Championships. 🇬🇧💪

A tough one for Ipswich, but another strong British Cycle Speedway National League showing. 🦅

Ipswich were right in the fight, with James Porter leading the way on 22, followed by Ashley Hill on 19+2 and Matt Hill on 13+1.

95–87 is a narrow enough margin to show just how competitive the Eagles were, but Birmingham take the points this time.

Plenty of positives to take forward. 💙❤️🦅

🟢 SOUTH EAST TAKE THE TEAM WIN 🟢

Lily, Ting, Maisy and Charlie teamed up with Amberley and Ava from Kesgrave Panthers Cycle Speedway Club for the 3rd round of the women’s league. The girls put in a superb performance and took the team win.

South East - 66
Midlands - 63
North & Scotland - 60
South & South Wales - 50

Onto the individuals. Charlie, Maisy and Ting rode the intermediates and Lily the experts. Charlie took 3rd place in the A final, Maisy took 2nd in the B final and Ting took 3rd in the C final.

Lily took 1st in the expert A final. After an eventful first run of the race, in which Lily dropped under 2 opponents, it was rerun, due to another riding falling, and Lily stormed her way to take spot!

Last chance to get your entries in for the British Championships weekend in the Midlands (29-31st Aug), which will be the U16 and older categories! Entries close tonight at 23:59.

If you want to enter the Little League Championships (U8s and U10s), or the British U12 and U14 Championships, they are the following weekend at Wednesfield (5th Sept). So there's another week before the deadline to enter these.
