Ipswich Speedway Supporters Club

Photographer and former Ipswich Witches team manager Philip Hilton is arranging what promises to be a very entertaining evening of Witches nostalgia. "Speedway's very own band of brothers" brings together the double-winning 1975-75 league and cup champions on the evening of 18th September at Kesgrave Community Centre. Tickets are just £5 each from the track shop on race nights with any remaining tickets available on the door on the night.

The new ISSC 2027 calendar is now available. Featuring all your 2026 Ipswich Witches riders and last year's title-winners we have held the price at just £8. Grab your copy from the supporters' club hut on the second bend on race nights. We'll be sorting out online/postal purchase options shortly. All profits go to support the speedway club.

No rain in Ipswich for what feels like months then the heavens open on a Thursday night! The weather threatened to disrupt the Ipswich Witches v Leicester Lions Speedway meeting yesterday but apart from a slightly delayed start it all went to plan - and a great win for the Witches!

Priced at £8.00 (cash only), these will be available from Margaret situated somewhere near the turnstiles (we're not quite sure of the location yet, due to the 75th Anniversary displays) and from the Supporters Club hut on the second bend during the meeting. The End of Season dinner dance is taking place at Venue 16 on Friday 6th November. Costs are £50 members, £55 non-members. Please call into the Supporters Club hut to book. The menu is also now available.

Thanks to everyone who travelled on the coach to Leicester with us. Hopefully we'll be able to arrange more trips in the future.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the monthly quiz for August has been cancelled. We'll be back as usual in September (9th).

And we're back to the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund collection! The Witches Academy team donated £120 to our collection last night. This brings the final total (and it really is the final total now!) to a truly incredible £3,508.38!

A sparkly pink phone case was left on the coach yesterday, probably because the zip pull had caught in the seat pocket. Jeremy (driver) was able to release it and consequently it will be available for collection from the Supporters Club hut on Thursday.
