Empowering the Next Generation of Women Coaches

Snowsport England has launched SheLeads, an exciting new 24-month programme designed to support more women into coaching and instructing roles across snowsports. Open to women aged 16 and over living in England, the programme aims to increase female representation within the coaching workforce while creating a strong and supportive community of future leaders.

Participants will receive funding towards a range of Snowsport England coaching and instructor qualifications, spanning alpine, freestyle, snowboard and nordic disciplines. Alongside formal qualifications, the programme includes a comprehensive series of workshops covering topics such as inclusive coaching, mental health, injury prevention, female health and coach development. Each participant will also benefit from mentorship from experienced female leaders and access to an exclusive network of women working within snowsports.

SheLeads forms part of the wider Women's Snowsport Collective, helping to connect, inspire and support women across all areas of the sport. Applications are now open and close on 22 June 2026. Whether you're considering your first coaching qualification or looking to progress to a higher level, SheLeads offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills, build confidence and help shape the future of snowsports coaching.
