Shooting has been called off tonight with rain and possible thunderstorms. Sorry the post wasn't earlier! Those at the field tried but the rain set in at 6pm and shooting was abandoned. It's been a very mixed summer.

Our World Record Status WA18 Tournament is back on 31st January 2027! Entry is now open!

Blue Arrows Archery Club in Ipswich is pleased to announce that our popular World Record Status WA18 Tournament will be returning on 31st January 2027. We are offering two sessions, morning and afternoon, and booking is online only via our website. See links below for full details:

Clout shoots for Blue Arrows members

We have two clout shoot dates organised. They are

16th July (this Thursday)
13th August

18th June Club Night

There is intermittent rain at the moment, but it's not heavy so tonight is a case of making up your own minds about whether you want to shoot or not. BUT if you find yourself alone at the field please abide by our lone shooting guidance (see pinned post above) and do not shoot if you don't meet the criteria or if it is in any way unsafe.

**Club Night - 11th June - Shooting abandoned**

This rain looks set in for the evening, and, reluctantly, a decision has been made to abandon shooting.
Even if the rain stops by 5.30pm, there is too much surface water to make it safe to move bosses about and a risk of damaging the field surface.
So no shooting tonight under any circumstances, sorry.

Club Night - 4th June

This weather is completely unpredictable, with most people deciding not to shoot. If anyone does venture to the field please be aware that there may not be anyone there to help with targets etc. If you shoot alone please be aware of our lone shooting guidance in the pinned post above. If you are not an experienced archer or are unable to handle the bosses by yourself please do not try shooting alone.

Beautiful evening at the field yesterday. Sun shining, shooting line in the shade, perfect! A big welcome to the new members who joined us from the Beginner's Course.

OUTDOOR SEASON HAS STARTED!

Our Indoor season finished at the end of March and from Thursday 2nd April we will be outdoors at our usual venue, Ipswich School Playing Fields, The Grove, Henley Road, Ipswich, IP1 4NN.

Hours are:
Thursday - 17:30 until 20.00
Sunday - 09.00 until 12.00
