Some great Judo on display and lots of people stepping onto a competition mat for the first time. Congratulations to our award winners. A huge thanks to everyone that helped with running the event

Ipswich Judo Club celebrates two 18-year-old black belt role models Ipswich Judo Club, based in Sidegate Lane West, is celebrating after two of its most talented athletes achieved their black belts.

If you're thinking about entering our Dan grading on Saturday 25th January and not sure it's worth the journey because there might not be enough players to fight, then here's a breakdown of entries so far.

We have four 1st Dan, four 2nd Dan, a 3rd Dan and three 4th Dan men entered. We've also got seventeen 1st Kyu men in as well.

There are 8 women entered as well, four 1st Dan's, one 3rd Dan and 3 1st Kyu's.
