Official page of Ilkley R.F.C Amateur Rugby Union club with 1st XV playing in Regional 1 North East. We have a Junior and Youth Section ranging from Under 6 to Under 18. The clubhouse is available to hire, please see Ilkleyrfc.co.uk We have a fully equipped gym also available to hire to qualified personnel.

Dec Jackson and Matty Sheard are the latest pair confirmed for the Dalesmen ahead of the 2026/27 season. 🖤❤️

A big part of the squad Dec returns for another season at Stacks Field, adding further strength to the senior contingent as the Dalesmen look to build on last season.

Matty is another familiar face returning for 2026/27. As a regular part of the 1st XV setup over recent seasons, he brings plenty of quality and another strong option to the Ilkley backline. 💪

We’re delighted to confirm Dylan Shinn and Rory Gazeley are back in black and red for the 2026/27 season.

Dylan returns for another season at Stacks Field and will be looking to keep pushing on within the senior setup and play his part across the campaign.

Rory is a homegrown Dalesman who has been with the club since the age of five. After getting his first taste of senior rugby, he has continued his progression through the club and earned opportunities throughout the squad.

The annual Jeff Martin Memorial Cricket Match returns next Monday as Ilkley Rugby Club takes on Ilkley Cricket Club.

Monday 14 September - 5:30pm - Ilkley Cricket Club

Kindly sponsored by Guyson International, the match is played in memory of Jeff Martin, who was a great stalwart of both clubs.

There will also be a raffle in support of Ilkley Rugby Club, with a quality one-litre bottle of wh**ky up for grabs.

We’re delighted to confirm Arul Midgley and Harry Smith are back in black for the 2026/27 season.

A talented young player who started through the age grades at Ilkley, Arul continues his development at Stacks Field this season, with plenty more to come.

Harry brings experience and versatility across the backline, offering a real threat with ball in hand and a reliable option from the tee. A familiar face in the senior squad who has delivered plenty of important contributions in an Ilkley shirt.

🔴⚫ Meet two more new signings joining Ilkley for the new season.

Ethan Marshall joins us as a back rower with an impressive junior rugby CV, having represented Yorkshire at U17 and U18 level, captaining the county at U18s. Ethan has also played for Aireborough Colts and Prince Henry’s Grammar School, as well as attending Scotland U18 trials. He’ll be heading to Leeds Beckett University this year while linking up with the Ilkley squad.

Ellis Hogg joins Ilkley, playing across ho**er and the back row. Ellis brings academy rugby experience, including fixtures against the likes of Harlequins and Northampton Saints, and will also be studying at Leeds Beckett this year.

Two talented young players with plenty of rugby ahead of them. Great to have you both at Ilkley, lads! 👊
