The Manor Foundation

Our mission is to build a welcoming community hub that reduces social isolation, promotes health and wellbeing, and supports positive futures.

We are a community-focused charity supporting people across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. We promote health and wellbeing through sport, provide opportunities and dedicated provision for young people, support veterans, people with disabilities, and people facing hardship. We are proud to ensure inclusive opportunities and help individuals access training and employment. We are based at Microlise New Manor Ground and work in partnership with Ilkeston Town Football Club. We are proudly backed by Sport England, National Lottery Awards for All, Foundation Derbyshire, Garfield Weston Foundation, Veteran Foundation and Postcode Lottery. Our mission is to build a hub for the community to reduce social isolation and support positive futures. Look out for our free community events/family fun days throughout the year, bringing people together in a positive and inclusive way.

Our FREE Walking Football sessions are open to EVERYONE — any age, any ability! 🙌

⚽️Whether you’ve played football all your life, haven’t kicked a ball in years, or have never played before, you’ll be made to feel welcome.

⚽️It’s also a great way to get back into activity following an injury, stay active with a disability or simply find a form of exercise that’s lower impact and easier on the body.

Beyond the football, supporting B&K Recovery Fun Football in their mission has been an absolute pleasure and we hope everyone involved enjoyed the evening!🥰

Off the pitch, we have been overwhelmed by the love, support and encouragement shown by everyone who supported the event.🤩

✨A huge thank you to everyone who played, supported, volunteered, donated and helped make the evening so special.✨
