You don't have to go far to snorkel over seagrass meadows from St Martin's.

This footage was taken in August around low water off Par Beach.

Unlike seaweeds, seagrass is a true flowering plant evolved to live in salt water. They provide shelter and nursery grounds for many young fish and invertebrates 💚

We're teaming up with the wonderful St Martin's Vineyard to bring you a unique b**r tasting event as part of Visit Isles of Scilly Taste of Scilly Festival 🍺

Sample their delicious ales while we share anecdotes and information about the stunning islands that the b**rs are named after.

This event is taking place at the Vineyard on St Martin's from 2-3pm on 17th Sept. Buy your tickets from the Vineyard, £12 per person, over 18's only 🍻
