West Yorkshire RC Racers

Great meeting tonight, just like to say a huge thank you to everyone that turned up and it’s greatly appreciated.

The track tonight turned out to be difficult for a lot of the drives but showed some great driving skills and close battles.
Qualifying overall went to Rhys Trewartha Rc taking TQ and BQ was Dan Moorhouse and CQ Jonathan Cordingley.
In the C final it was Jonathan taking the win, by doing a nice smooth run closely followed by Andy Swaine and Jonathon Green rounding out your top 3.
In the B final it was Dan Moorhouse taking the win, he had a couple of minor mistakes but showed a good Battle with Jim Sykes placing P2 and Steve Hutton round out your Top 3.
A final was very exciting to watch as Rhys Trewartha and Mark Mitchell had a great start but the next lapped showed carnage letting James Mcfadyean into the lead and to hold that for the rest of the race with Rhys trying to force an error but it’s almost impossible with the driving skills James have, but overall it was P1 James

Great evenings racing - Sorry we only had time for 3 rounds and a final, we will get started sooner again next time (2 weeks time, 20th August!)

Great Meeting last Thursday (Jez's Birthday too, Happy Birthday pal and thanks for the cakes :) )

Less racers than normal but mostly due to the school Holidays but was a great track with a tricky middle mountain section which made the track challenging (named Mount Pattison...)
