Tiff's Top Tips- Purple 20

Start sat on the mat and get your hands and feet positioned on the start holds. Pull yourself up off the mat whilst twisting and dropping your left knee, this will bring your left hip closer to the wall, shortening the distance between your left hand and the next hand hold. Take the next hold with your left hand.

Rock over your right foot and reach for the sloper with your right hand. It is important to stay low here as you're moving across to get the best grip possible. Bring your left foot to match with your right foot (stepping through to the right edge of the hold to shorten the distance between this and the next hold if needed), then bring your right foot out to the next hold.

Still staying low, bump your right hand to the right of the sloper to make room for your left hand to come over and match, then move your right hand out to the side-pull. Step through with your left foot onto the first chip and flag out with your right to bring your left hip into the wall and avoid barn-dooring. Reach with your left hand to the jug hold above.

Bring your right foot up onto the second chip, flag out with your left foot and reach for the hold above with your right hand. Bring your left foot up onto the hold to your left and, using the small side-pull to aid you, rock over onto that left foot. Bump your left hand to the next larger side-pull, allowing your body to swing to the left to make the most of the angle of that hold whilst bringing your right hand over to match. Bring your right foot up onto the next foot hold and reach for the next small side-pull with your right hand. Bring your left foot up and through into an inside-flag, hold and reach for the final hold with your left hand, match with your right hand to finish!

There you have it! Let us know how you get on!

🌼Meet the team!🌼

hi!! i’m Niamh:) I started climbing around a year and a half ago and I’ve only met lovely people since starting!! So come say hi!! Climbing has been one of the best things i’ve ever taken up in my life so far, it’s so important to me to feel strong especially as a woman, and i do so much more since switching from the gym to climbing. I also love running and I'm a qualified yoga instructor, so if i see you not warming up you’re in big trouble :) As the newest member of the team I feel I have a lot to learn, but that’s so exciting and I know the rest of the team have my back & yours, which is a really nice feeling. see you on the wall :)

🧡Tiff's Top Tips- Orange 4🧡

Start position...Match on the start crimp, place your left foot on the sloped foot hold with your knee to the left. Flag with your right foot.

Push left with your flagged right foot and up with your left foot to reach the next crimp with your left hand.

Bring your right foot to the small edge under the start hold, then flag your left foot low and rock over your right foot. Move your right hand to the next side-pull crimp.

Swap feet and flag out with your right foot for stability and bring your left hand to the side of the volume. This should give you enough stability and the correct position to move your right foot onto the next foot hold.

Bring your left hand over the top to the crimp on the right hand side of the black volume, then use this as a Gaston to rock your weight over your right foot.

Move your right hand to the second to last hold. This is a bad hold, so you're going to want to bump your right hand straight to the finish hold.

Swap feet and flag right (or to avoid the foot swap try an inside flag, if you're feeling fancy) to match the top!

And there you have it!...oh and of course, don't forget to brush!!
