We've have now had official confirmation that Vlad has been invited to take part in WST's English Open qualifiers!

As a reward for him winning the latest Under 21 Development Tour series, Vlad will take his spot in the draw alongside the biggest names in the game.

The Qualifiers take place later the month in Leicester, with the main event being held in Brentwood - Essex, in late September.

This is the latest success story for the 17 year old amateur, straight off the back of him retaining his English Under 18 title. The last player to retain the Under 18 title was Gary Wilson in 2002/03, so he's in great company.

Well done to Iulian Boiko who has topped his group in the Championship League today.

Two wins and a draw was enough to see him safely through, with breaks of 90, 86, 65 & 54 along the way.

We cater for every level of player at Levels. Gary, a WST double ranking event winner travelling over two hours in the car to take part in our comp. And then Fred, 5years old, learning all he can and spending every possible second he can in the club, loving his table time.

Photos like this make it all worthwhile.

When you have to rush straight from school to Levels because Fred is absolutely desperate to meet Gary Wilson 🎒🏃‍♂️

Despite being inbetween games in a competition, he took the time to chat to Fred and couldn't have been nicer...even if Fred did call him by his full name every time 😂

And of course, we couldn't leave without Fred convincing us to let him play some pool with Alfie Wilkinson. Absolute obsession! 🎱

Thats Vlad's Q-School over and done with for another year.

All credit to the very talented Shaun Liu. We wish him all the best in the next round.

A disappointing Q-School for Vlad & the team. Never really got going, frustrating after such a decent season.

BUT, we will work hard over the closed season and come back ready and stronger for the next!

Its all part of the journey towards the professional Tour.
