“Crash & Create” was a huge hit with our players in the sunshine at Laund Hill tonight! ☀️

A massive thank you to our superstar coach for the evening, Adam Ryder, for sharing his knowledge and helping everyone develop their skills. Thanks also to everyone who came along, worked hard, asked questions, and embraced the session.

Crash & Create… The Centres

The next session in our Inside the XV series turns to the engine room of the backline – the centres.

This week’s session will be led by Adam Ryder, a home-grown player who competed at National 2 level until very recently. A natural leader on the pitch whi brings a modern, high-performance approach to developing players and understanding what it takes to excel in the midfield.

Designed for aspiring inside and outside centres, this session will focus on the key skills needed to dominate both attack and defence. Players will work on running effective lines, creating space, defensive organisation, tackle technique, distribution, communication, and understanding when to crash the ball up or unlock the outside backs.

Whether you’re an established centre or looking to learn one of rugby’s most influential positions, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your game with one of the club’s most accomplished home-grown players.

A fantastic evening of rugby up at LH, with over 30 players from our junior and senior sides getting involved.
Smithy and Clewsy, two hugely experienced players did a cracking job planning and delivering the session, imparting their knowledge, skill and understanding of these vital positions.
