A huge shoutout to our very own power couple, Suzy & Rob Overton, who took on the Birmingham Unity 5K this morning and absolutely smashed it! 🔥

What a way to be part of a brilliant day of running in Birmingham, following in the footsteps of the European champions.

Race Round-Up 🏃‍♂️🇸🇪

Our racing snake, Ben, decided that one race in one day just isn’t enough, so did the unthinkable and signed up for a marathon AND a 10K! 🤯

First up was the 6 Lakes Marathon in the morning, ticking off the full 26.2 miles before most people had even properly started their day.

Come evening, Ben was back on the start line for Middnatsloppet, taking on the 10K night run through the streets of Stockholm. 🌙🇸🇪

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ YVAA Vets League – Slaithwaite

A great outing at the latest YVAA Vets League race in Slaithwaite, with Suzy, Rob, Brendan and Colin all taking on the challenging course.

There was plenty of determination on display as the team tackled the hills and gave it everything from start to finish. 💪

Well done to all four for representing the club and putting in some strong performances! 👏

🏅 Race Roundup 🏅

Ally took on the Ilkley Half Marathon this weekend, tackling the tough Yorkshire hills with determination and finishing strong - well done! 👏

What an incredible weekend of endurance at Endure24! 💪🔥

🌟 Louise smashed out an amazing 115 miles, finishing 🥈 2nd Female and 🥉 3rd Overall – an outstanding performance!

👏 Heidi put in a fantastic effort, covering 105 miles to finish 4th Female.

💥 Ben completed a brilliant 75 miles, while Nigel powered through 65 miles.

Huge congratulations to all four runners on their incredible achievements. Endure24 is never easy, and every mile earned is something to be proud of! 👏🏅

A massive congratulations to all of our runners who took on the challenge this weekend. Whether you smashed a PB, raced for fun, or simply enjoyed being part of the day, we’re incredibly proud of you all! 👏

A huge shout-out also goes to our amazing committee, who worked alongside the Lindley Community Group to help put on another fantastic event. Countless hours of planning and hard work went into making the race happen, and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone who volunteered their time.

The atmosphere was incredible, the community support was amazing, and it was fantastic to see so many smiling faces out on the course.

Well done to every runner, volunteer, marshal, supporter, and everyone who helped make the Lindley 10K such a brilliant success. 💙

Sean, Nick and Chris were all in action on Sunday at the Pen*stone 10K, taking on the undulating course.

⛰️ Due North Skirfare Half Marathon
Allistair tackled the challenging Skirfare Half Marathon in the Yorkshire Dales, taking on some tough trails and stunning scenery along the way.

💪 North Yorkshire Ultra Challenge
Huge congratulations to Oksana, who completed the incredible 50-mile distance at the North Yorkshire Ultra Challenge. An outstanding endurance achievement!

Well done to everyone who raced and represented the club this weekend! 👏👏

🔥 Race Round-Up: Spine Summer Sprint North 🔥

What an incredible achievement from Liam last weekend, taking on the legendary Spine Summer Sprint North! 🏃‍♂️⛰️

Known for its tough terrain, steep climbs, and relentless trails, this is not an event for the faint-hearted. Liam dug deep, kept moving forward, and showed outstanding determination from start to finish.

A well-earned finish line and another epic endurance challenge conquered! 💪👏

Months of training, commitment, and resilience all paid off in a fantastic performance. We’re incredibly proud of what Liam has achieved. Congratulations 🎉🏅

🔹 Morley YVAA (16 June) – well done to Nigel, Suzy, Steve, Brendan and Colin who represented the club and put in excellent performances.

🔹 Leeds 10K (14 June) – Great runs from Paul, Rob, Luke and Chris. A special mention to Rob, whose performance set a new club M40 record 🎉👏

🔹 Windermere Marathon (14 June) – Well done to Richard for conquering the challenging Lake District course - not for the faint hearted!

🔹 YVAA Grand Prix, Stainland (10 June) – Nigel, Brendan, Colin, Robert, Suzy and Andrew were in action, with Suzy securing 3rd place in her category 🏆

Lake District Ultra Challenge (29km)
Huge congratulations to Gary for completing the stunning Lake District Ultra Challenge. Covering 29km through some of the country’s most spectacular scenery, this was a fantastic achievement. ⛰️🏅

Marsden 10 Mile
Well done to Lindsay, Nigel, Luke, Aimee, Alistair and Rob who took on the challenging Marsden 10 Mile. A strong turnout from the club and a great effort from everyone on a demanding course. 💪
