Big congratulations to the Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) Unit at William Osler Health System in Brampton, Ontario, on achieving an 'Outstanding' Butterfly Re-Accreditation.

This achievement reflects an exceptional commitment to continually developing and embedding the Butterfly Approach —where clinical excellence, emotional connection, meaningful engagement and humanizing practice work hand in hand.

Our auditor was impressed by the Osler team's commitment to innovation, sustainability and strong leadership, ensuring that the Butterfly culture continues to grow and flourish.

As Peter Bewert, Managing Director of Meaningful Care Matters, said:

Today’s training in explored the importance of good listening as a core skill in work - and in life. What does it feel like when no one listens? In this exercise we practised the art of listening with full attention. We also discussed the feeling of connection when sitting beside someone on a sofa. 💕
