Congratulations to Rosie C, placing 8th out of 150 competitors in the Regional PC80 Show Jumping Championship class at Rectory Farm. Well done!

Fantastic result for Keira and Tess at the Regional Champs at Rectory Farm yesterday, winning their arena in the Grassroots Dressage championship. Great score of over 73%, putting them through to the ride off, where they placed 10th. What an achievement.

Best of luck to our members competing in dressage, show jumping and eventing at the Regional Champs at Rectory Farm this weekend.

As the summer holidays draw to a close, we've been busy organising the calendar of rallies and events to take us to the end of the year.

We have lots of new rallies now open for sign up, and some more dates to add including more flatwork and XC:

Please also note that our branch is hosting the Area 11 BAH Show Jumping at Merrist Wood on 6th December, classes from 50 cms upwards for individuals and team. All classes 70 and above are all qualifiers for the BAH Championship at the end of March 2027. We'd love to have lots of members and teams competing and will be needing help on the day too. So mark your calendars. Schedule will shortly be available.

It's cooling down! We are running the Pony Club Road Rider Training and Test on Wednesday 19 August at Sunray Farm House (afternoon) with Lucy and Ruby.

You have options to bring your pony (there will be unmounted training before riding), share a pony with a friend or borrow a pony (see rally sign up options).

Any ponies coming on site must bring passport and with up to date vaccination record.

For anyone considering training for C Test this is pre requisite for C Test. Please sign up by Sunday, so we can send out the pre-read/video and details.

Congratulations to all our members who passed their pony club tests at camp last week. 100% pass rate! Thank you to our camp staff team, Lottie, Molly, Ruby, Holly and Liv and camp instructors for putting candidates through their paces in preparation for assessment. Well done everyone.

Keen bean members out at our rally at Merrist Wood arena today with Lucy Nichols. Lots of gymnastic exercises using poles snd show jumping grids. A good choice to get a rally in before the weather heats up this week.

Well done to everyone who came to camp this week, hopefully are resting up today!

We do have some cracking rallies lined up in August, so please do sign up to them. Also open to prospective members who would like to trial pony club before joining.

On 11th we have poles and gridwork with Lucy at Merrist Wood (outdoor arena) from 4pm.

In particular for those wanting to do their C test (the one after D+) you will need your Road Rider test so we have put one of those on so you can get that out of the way on 19th. You can share horses for this or Mouse and Murphy will oblige as it's only in walk, so two options for signing up.

Camp day 3! A much welcome cooler day with a few raindrops. Rides out with coaches this morning, then a break for the ponies. Dan Brown Horsemanship brought along 2 driving cobs and a carriage and set up a course for our trios of members to navigate, driving the carriage. Well done to Liliana, Amber and Keira for the fastest time and least penalties. Clear round this evening, tackling the course the campers helped to design and build in tbe workshop last night. We suspect everyone will sleep well tonight.
